However, this timeline greatly depends on the level of damage, weather conditions, and the type of materials used in certain areas. You may notice your wood floors are wet and buckling due to water damage and worry about whether they need replacing or not. Whether you need carpet restoration or a replacement depends on its condition following our drying and sanitization procedures. You may need to replace it if the water damage compromises the glue, the padding separates from the carpet's fiber layer, or there are irreversible stains.
