Get dramatic results that are easy to maintain with our deep restorative process.

Have your tiles lost their luster?

Tile is all over buildings, restrooms, lobbies, break rooms, and kitchens. When your tile and grout start to look worn, stained, dirty, or smell funky, it can seem easier ”to just replace it.” But unless your tiles are damaged beyond repair, a complete tile and grout restoration is the way to go.

Hiring deep cleaning specialists to restore and maintain your tile and grout can make your floor look brand new. It can also help your janitorial team maintain the space more efficiently and extend the lifespan of your tile and grout.

Cleaning & maintaining your tile & grout

With dirty grout and tiles being the ultimate brand perception killer – especially in restrooms – it’s important to invest in the right tile and grout deep cleaning and maintenance methods to keep your tiles shining and grout in pristine condition.

At Corporate Care, we have no vested interest in replacing your floors. Instead, we want to keep them out of the landfill and looking beautiful for as long as possible. Our surface care experts can design a proactive care plan that fits your needs and budget. All maintenance plans come with an appearance warranty.

If you are not ready for a maintenance plan but still want to restore your tile, try our Tile & Grout Makeover Service. This can be done as a one-time service or bundled with a maintenance plan; it's your choice. We’re flexible like that

What about restroom tile? (Dirty little secret)

Most restroom floors are being “cleaned” with the outdated and ineffective mop and bucket method. Rather than removing dirt, dust, germs, and bacteria, this method spreads the dirt around, embedding it into the grout. Corporate Care has restored thousands of restroom floors and given new life to these troublesome areas.

Outdated mopping techniques can cause “grout graying.” The string mop was patented in 1890's and has served well, but for commercial cleaning, it’s antiquated.

Graying grout

This is an example of grout graying. You can see that the first few inches from the floor of the vertical grout lines are darker than the rest of the wall. That is from a dirty mop hitting the wall and transferring its dirty mop water to the porous vertical grout lines making.

Don’t replace. Restore your tile & grout!

At Corporate Care, we can turn back time and undo years of tile and grout damage. Restoration services can clean your tile and grout and take years off of the floor's appearance in the process.

We revitalize your tile and grout with a deep scrub and acid wash and repair any missing or damaged grout.

Our IICRC®-certified technicians use advanced mineral deposit removal chemistry and innovative machine processes to deliver the deepest clean imaginable.

If you are thinking about replacing your tile flooring, give us a call first to see if we can turn it back into a shining asset that is easy to clean and will look fantastic for years.

A clean, fresh-smelling building with attractive flooring instills consumer confidence.

Frequently Asked Tile & Grout Questions

  • Cleaning is the physical removal of dirt, grime, and dust, but does not necessarily eliminate germs.
  • Sanitizing means that you are lowering, not necessarily eliminating, the number of germs to a level safe for humans.
  • Disinfecting kills germ microorganisms. Most effective on hard, non-porous surfaces. It is impossible to kill all microorganisms on a soft surface like rugs, carpets, upholstery, or even tile and grout if extensive biofilm is present.

Grout can be laden with bacteria. You can spray all the bleach you want but if you do not remove the unhealthy microbes and debris from the grout, you have done very little.

The deep cleaning process we use for grout can not only clean but disinfect and our clear coatings can protect your grout and tile from further microbial growth.

There are many benefits associated with tile and grout cleaning and maintenance. Routine cleaning helps extend the tiles and grout lifespan, helping them last as long as possible. Regular cleaning also keeps your tiles and grout clean, and it prevents odor from setting in, minimizes staining, and removes germs and bacteria.

If you notice your grout smells and cannot remove the scent with regular mopping, tile and grout cleaning may be needed. Additionally, if you notice after cleaning that your tiles are stained or dirty, tile and grout cleaning is required. Finally, cleaning can revive these surfaces and restore them to their original coloring if your tiles are discolored, or your grout is discolored.

With a grouted tile, you naturally have a low spot valley between tiles. Water, soil, and detergent will flow to those low spots. If you are not recovering this residue during the cleaning process, which you won’t when mopping, they will soak into the grout. This residue will harbor a bacteria-laden biofilm that is difficult to remove.

Biofilm (or microbial mat) is a very important part of the microbial ecosystem in natural environments. However, they are unwelcome in your building because this community of microorganisms creates a matrix structure that harbors and protects harmful pathogens. Biofilm is made up of many strains of pathogen bacteria. The bacterial cells stick together and form an almost impenetrable shield that can make unwanted bacteria up to 1,000 times more resistant to antimicrobial chemical cleaners and disinfectants.

Antibiotic resistant bacteria in a biofilm, 3D illustration. Biofilm is a community of bacteria where they aquire antibiotic resistance and communicate with each other by quorum sensing molecules

At Corporate Care, we first assess the condition of your tile and grout, along with the specific materials used to come up with a custom care plan. We then use a combination of deep grout scrubbing, acid wash, polishing, and honing to bring your tile and grout back to its former condition. Once we’ve restored and deep cleaned your tile and grout, we then add a protective sealer and coating to help your tiles keep their shine and stop bacterial regrowth.

We offer a range of grout sealers and coatings that perform various duties. Some are more of a basic sealer to protect your grout from discoloration. In contrast, other more heavy-duty coatings will form an impenetrable covering on your grout to avoid bacteria penetrating the surface. Depending on the quality of the sealer or coating, they can last a few months up to 60 months.

And like with most things, performance in timespan/durability depends on the wear and tear of the location and the level of care or neglect the surface receives.

Preventative maintenance is essential for keeping your grout in great condition and avoiding costly regrouting or deep restoration procedures down the line. We recommend scrubbing your grout using a bristle brush with baking soda and water every 1-2 weeks to keep your grout clean.

Keeping your grout clean and sealed is vital as grout can harbor germs and bacteria. Common bacteria in restroom grout include salmonella, streptococcus, staphylococcus, Escherichia coli, and campylobacter.

Our team offers tile and grout maintenance services that help to protect your tiles and grout. Deep cleaning and then sealing tile and grout makes it easier for your janitorial team to perform routine cleaning services on the tile. We also teach your team how to properly clean the tile and grout, ditching the mop and bucket method for good.

Enabling your floors, fabrics, and finishes to live long and prosper.
