Our Story
In 1984, Corporate Care was founded in Houston, Texas, in response to professional services firms with high-end furniture and flooring that needed surface care beyond what standard janitorial companies could provide. The work was specialized. The surfaces were expensive. And the people managing those buildings needed a partner they could trust to get it right.
We grew organically from Houston to Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio. Then to the West Coast, the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast. Every expansion was driven by the same thing: a client or colleague saying, "You need to call Corporate Care." No venture capital. No private equity. No shortcuts. Just reputation.
In 2014, Michael Bono bought out the founding partner to become the sole owner. His wife Susan joined as CEO, bringing her experience in business development, customer retention, and recruiting. Their son Mitch now serves as Vice President, leading national business development. Bobby Ochse serves as COO, overseeing operations and service delivery nationwide.
As we grew, we made a deliberate choice: don't lose what made us good in the first place. That meant investing in our people, not just our footprint. Our Care Team averages 12+ years with the company. Our IICRC-certified technicians are trained by an on-staff IICRC instructor. When you work with Corporate Care, you're working with a company that answers to facility managers, not investors.
Today, we serve clients from coast to coast, including lower Canada and Alaska. We've helped facility and property managers avoid millions of dollars in capital expenditures by restoring and maintaining surfaces instead of replacing them. And we still answer the phone the same way we did in 1984.
