Concrete is tough. It isn’t maintenance-free.
The slab is permanent. The polish and sealer on top of it are not. Foot traffic, grit and daily cleaning wear that finish down a little at a time, evenly, across the whole floor. Nothing looks broken, because nothing is. The floor just slowly stops looking finished, and everyone in the building adjusts to it as it goes.

There's no bad patch to point at. The whole floor drifts down together, so the floor you're looking at is just the floor, until one section gets restored and the difference is standing right next to you.

- Deep scrub and degrease
- Seal, coat, polish or stain to the finish the space calls for
- Add anti-slip where it’s needed
- Hand your crew a floor that stops dusting and wipes clean

Concrete is a design choice, not a default.
Concrete is permanent, so the only question is whether it looks like an asset or an afterthought. Sealed or polished, a plain slab becomes the finished floor retail, offices and airports choose on purpose. It costs a fraction of new flooring, sends no old flooring to the landfill, and once it’s sealed, it’s one of the easiest floors in the building to keep clean.

Soaks into the concrete to stop dusting and resist stains, with a low-sheen finish that still looks like concrete.

Slabs with a history.
Any of the four can take an anti-slip additive for entries, ramps, and wet areas. We do all four, so we don’t have a favorite. We’ll recommend the one that fits the space, the traffic, and the budget.

Every job starts with the slab. We take up floor stickers, tape, adhesive, peeling paint and any old wax or finish, then deep scrub and degrease. Then it gets the finish you chose: sealed, coated, polished or stained. A polished floor that has lost its shine usually needs a deep clean and a re-polish, not a start from scratch.

We come back on a cadence set by your traffic, check that the protection is still working, and recoat or re-polish before the wear shows. Floors on a program carry our appearance warranty.
What we’ll tell you honestly.
A clear finish shows everything underneath it. Patches, old adhesive lines, saw cuts and color changes in the pour will still be there after sealing or polishing, and often easier to see. That’s concrete, not a flaw in the work, and a stain or dye can even it out if it matters for the space. Oil that has soaked in deep may lighten rather than disappear, and cracks or spalling need repair before any finish goes down. You’ll hear all of that before we start.
After 40 years and millions of square feet, we know what a slab can become and what it can’t. We seal, coat, polish and stain, so we have no reason to steer you toward one. If polishing is right for your lobby, we’ll say so. If a coating gets you the look you want with less upkeep, we’ll say that instead. And if we spot a problem developing outside our scope, you’ll hear about it, whether or not there’s work in it for us.
